Safe, clean, beautiful, but a tad boring.

Morehead City is a great place for a family. Very safe, good schools, clean, beautiful beaches. The weather is pretty mild for the most part (4 seasons). It is a tad boring as there is not a lot in this area as far as shopping and recreation. I don't think the job market is great here either (that is not an issue for us being military, just from what I've heard from locals). Otherwise a very nice place!
